I personally modified this and use it soknow it works.This launcher will download the latest version, currently 1.0.0, from Mojang soyou don't have to worry about incomplete versions with missing sound files (like every single standalone version I've tested is missing).Instructions:1) Double check to make sure 64-bit Java is set to be used first. a) Open Java Preferences.app (in the utilities folder /Applications/Utilites/) b) Drag the 64-bit version of 1.6 above the 32-bit version if it isn't already there.(FYI: The unofficial Java 1.7 did not work for me but YMMV) 2) Unzip and copy MinecraftSP.app to the applications directory.3) Open MinecraftSP.app.4) Put in whatever name you want and check the &force update& checkbox.5) Profit.Firewalls: If you're using a firewall like Little Snitch when it asks for permission to
give it access &Until Quit&. Whenever you want to update you need to give that server access again. Block
forever.Permissions: If the app launches and closes immediately you need to set permissions, you shouldn't have to do this but just in case, run this from a terminal:
chmod -R +x /Applications/MinecraftSP.app If you what to know what chmod does run: man chmod Or Google it so you know this isn't doing anything dangerous.
