　反恐精英Online》是基于美国游戏开发商Valve的著名游戏《反恐精英》为基础，由韩国NEXON创作开发的FPS同名网游巨作。
　　《反恐精英》作为1999年发布的第一人称视角游戏《半条命》的优化版本，以军事题材将恐怖分子与反恐精英之间的激斗在游戏的场景上实现，凭借其爽快的打击感和动作感以及快速的游戏节奏创造了FPS游戏的销售神话。《反恐精英Online》在完全继承原作精髓的基础上添加了新的模式、地图和角色，使玩家能够更好的体验网络化后带来的便利与快乐。实际上《反恐精英Online》的开发阵容里有很多《反恐精英》骨灰级玩家，大家对于继承原作的游戏性与平衡具有共鸣。
和csol最像的单机版cs是《反恐精英：零点行动》，所以...实际上很多cs玩家不习惯csol配置要求

　　cs_camouflage(废弃工厂)－小型救援人质地图，为两层的建筑物。
　　cs_camouflage 2(废弃工厂2)－Camouflage地图的再版。
　　de_rex(生化危机)－以实验室为模型的放置炸弹地图，是一个炸弹地图。
　　dm_AE(赤热阳台)－ 是一个田字型的地图，地图是仿CS里很出名的地图fy_iceworld。
　　de_truth_cz（混乱中的真相）--CZ的地图，以大阪的一个庄园为背景，是一个炸弹地图。
　　de_fastline_cz（东京地铁）--CZ的地图，以东京地铁站为背景，是一个炸弹地图。

　　greesia（狙击之馆）--以博物馆为背景的死斗地图，只能用AWP。
　　Hardcore 以一个地下道为背，没有灯光，只能用电筒，夜视镜会被禁止。
　　Manhunt 一个炸掉学校的地图。
　　Abyss 一个丧尸模组地图，背景是一间研究所。
　　de_dazzlingTW（喋血香港）－地图本身通道错综复杂，也有很多车辆当作障碍物；本地图为一爆破地图，是当前该游戏完善度最高的一幅地图。
　　cs_militia（突袭佣兵营）－为一人质救援地图，以一栋木造建筑为背景。
& & 《反恐精英OL》共支持三种大的游戏模式，分别被称为原始模式、死亡竞赛模式和训练模式（目前仅韩服有僵尸模式）。
& & 原始模式，即是原作CS的游戏模式，包括我们大家熟悉的C4爆破、救人质、保护VIP任务；
　　死亡竞赛模式，等同于我们熟悉的CSDM，唯一不同的就是在《反恐精英OL》里分为团队死亡竞赛和个人死亡竞赛两种类型；
　　训练模式，顾名思义，就是和电脑控制的角色进行对战练习，说简单点，就是和我们熟悉的BOT进行对战了。
& & 僵尸模式是《反恐精英OL》与前作《反恐精英》不同的模式中最受关注的模式。该模式主要描述人类为了生存与寻找牺牲品的僵尸进行的战斗。捉迷藏式的僵尸模式中，玩家被分为少数的僵尸阵营和多数的人类阵营。僵尸阵营的主要目标是在固定时间内寻找所有的人类把其变成僵尸，人类阵营的主要目标是逃亡或杀死所有僵尸。
& & 另据可靠消息未来可能推出幽灵模式、足球模式、养成模式等（资料不详，但足球模式似乎在单机版见过）。

　　USAS-12－恐怖份子专有的霰弹***，全自动，可装填20发12口径子弹的弹鼓。
　　K1A－反恐部队专有卡宾***，基本上为K2突击步***的紧凑型衍生型，可搭配30发5.56亳米子弹的弹匣。
　　HK MP7－冲锋***，可搭配20发4.6厘米子弹弹匣。
　　FN SCAR－反恐部队突击步***，30发5.56亳米子弹弹匣。
　　XM8－恐怖份子突击步***，30发5.56毫米子弹弹匣。（基本版永久，强化版为Point商品）
　　VSK-94－反恐部队特派狙击***，搭配20发9毫米子弹弹匣，内建消音器（狙击镜只能放大一倍倍率）。
　　SVD狙击步***－恐怖份子特派狙击***，搭配10发7.62亳米子弹弹匣。
　　95式班用机***－中国制95式自动步***机***型。可以装填75发的5.8MM子弹，对喜欢机***扫射快感的人而言，QBB95无疑是一个便宜实惠的选择。
　　FN SCAR 强化版--FN SCAR步***的加强版，火力比基本版强，搭配20发7.62亳米子弹弹匣。（基本版永久，强化版为Point商品）
　　XM8 狙击模式--XM8步***的加强版，可使用狙击***的狙击镜（只能放大一倍倍率），火力也大大提升。搭配30发0.338英?子弹弹匣。
　　HK MP7 突击模式--HK MP7冲锋***的突击版，基本上火力和弹药和基本版相同，只是改成了单发和能够使用光学瞄准器具。
　　森蚺左轮(现仅台湾/香港服务器)─.50英?口径的左轮手***，破坏力可媲美沙漠之鹰，但射速与准度颇优于沙漠之鹰；不过由于这种***支是左轮手***，重新装填速度较慢一些。
　　MG3重机***(现仅韩国服务器，挺贵的……)
　　更改武器
　　只有FN SCAR，XM8和HK MP7这三款***能更换***管和模式。更改模式方法是FN SCAR，XM8：先购买第九项步***，再更换武器便可。HK MP7：购买该***并更换武器（按下数字键1即可切换）。

目前韩、台服收费状况并不一致，国服收费状况可以台服为参考。awp\\m4a1\\ak47\\沙漠之鹰、连狙是收费的，玩家初始***支为glock18、usp、mp5、xm8基本版、scar基本版，其余一般为point（相当于跑跑中的金币）商品。另外，防弹衣、头盔、手雷等永久免费，而烟雾弹和闪光弹是点卡商品。 服务器
