What is Windows Program Files and Program Files (x86)
If you're running a 64-bit version of , you may have noticed that there are two different a Programs Files folder, which contains
applications, and a Programs Files (x86) folder, which contains
applications. The reason for the separation is backwards compatibility as the two
are fundamentally different. For example, Windows may utilize the WoW64
with older 32-bit programs to make them run smoothly in 64-bit environment.
Tip: If you're having trouble locating a program in the Programs Files folder, try looking in the Programs Files (x86) folder.
Why is it called x86?
This term comes from the x86 platform name, which first originated from the Intel 8086 processor. See the

C 盘里有两个program files

笔记本原来的是8.1 32位系统
现在刚装成64位 的8.1，其它都正常，但在C盘发现两个program files，里面都有东西，大小差不多，请问能不能删了没有X64标志的那个？

千万不要删的，系统正常的目录。64位系统就是这样。

64位系统文件夹很多都是两个，一个64位，一个32位。

正常，因为很多程序是32位的，默认就放到32位文件夹里面

x86是32位程序的
正常，win7也有的，
和我第一次***64位一样，我删除的是x86的那个，结果是悲催的

64位有2个的，系统文件都有存在的道理，所以没事不要删除，不会快的
