In her third report to Parliament, the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development examines the federal government's actions in response to specific commitments with implications for both human health and the environment. The Commissioner's audits deal with issues that affect all Canadians, notably the use of pesticides, and touch upon the government's efforts at measuring progress and reporting on the results of selected programs designed to help Canada meet its Kyoto target.
