Counter-Strike Online is a remake of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero targeted at the Asian games markets. It is being developed by Nexon Corporation with oversight from license-holder Valve Corporation.

Counter-Strike Online (CSO or CSOL) is a version of Counter-Strike facing the gaming market Asians. It was originally developed by Nexon Corporation of South Korea with oversight from license from Valve Corporation. In April 2008, Nexon developed Counter-Strike Online game based on Counter-Strike Valve Corporation.
This game, in turn, aims to try and bring the game to the countries in which the game is not yet released (such as Brazil and the United States, for example), but without copying it, using as a basis, the Counter-Strike 1.6, AMXX Plugins and the Metahook (GoldSrc engine modification , like XASH Engine) .

Counter-Strike BreakThrough Edition will go through a major change, a new complete overhaul in the game. The game will feature new systems, interfaces and more will all be soon. CSBTE will be MOD native ie without modification or hooks. BTE will have some features like: Crosshair system, New Buy Menu, new Graphical User Interface, Bink Animations, Game menu re-maked and other features.Well, as the game is being made from scratch, it will undergo alphas and betas, also it takes to be finally released, but in the meantime, many content will be released to the public.
