《三国战纪：风云再起》的新系统，就是新增的降服敌将功能，只要你在与敌将交战过程中达成某些条件，在敌将被打倒后，援军令便会落下，接下来便可在战场中呼叫降将出场攻击，各降将各有各式各样的必杀技及特殊攻击，全凭你运用来过关斩将。
以下介绍使用降将的几点要素：
1. 一旦降将遭受攻击，就会退场。
2. 降将出场时间有限。只有在于BOSS交锋时才能出战。
3. 降将出场次数依个性各有不同，对不同的BOSS亦有不同的杀伤力。
