最近在windows下想搭建一个虚机测试环境，看了一下chef/puppet/Cfengine 多少对windows都有支持，但不确定是只能做客户端呢还是可以完全在windows下搞定，或者有没有什么好的方案推荐？ 顺便整理一下相关资料：

没有使用过windows 跑以上东东。chef应该都支持吧。别的不详
刘宇大牛已经针对puppet这块做了很好的回答.我在开始的时候接触chef,后来接触到puppet,但是都没有接触到win相关的东西,我的客户端,服务端都是win的服务端当然都推荐linux,个人感觉去win下在搞个服务端没必要,客户端这块,刘宇大牛已经整理的很好来,基本上目前看到的对win也都支持了,个人感觉就现在就不要去折腾chef了,毕竟现在已经有了相对成熟的方案(puppet), Cfengine没接触过
puppet必须要*nix master?
