森林守护者？新英雄特点解析
在今日测试服虽然并没有更新太多东西，但是却放出了一段40秒长的新英雄预告视频，与其他的预告视频不同，本次预告并没有搞什么太玄幻的彩蛋。
在视频中，埃文（暂译）为了保护小狼不受到猎人的伤害，用树根捆住了其中一个猎人，并让草丛突然生长将一切掩盖了起来：
&所有生命都是珍贵的。&
（注意看下图，草丛在埃文的影响下突然生长起来）
我们已经可以较为清楚的在视频中看到新英雄的外观，并推测出一些他的能力。
首先新英雄无论从外观上讲，还是他在活动时候发出的声音，都可以推断出他是一个树人。结合他的称号&森林之友&可以发现他是一个（或者所有？）广袤森林的守护者，我们知道在英雄联盟中已经有一个扭曲树精的存在，不过以往的大树是属于暗影岛的角色，所以这次推出的森林之友埃文显然是一个正派角色。（不过严格来讲扭曲树精好像也是正派角色）
对于英雄特点的来说，有一些玩家猜测新英雄埃文可能有召唤野怪帮自己打架的能力，当然一般野怪的作战力肯定不足，所以这个设定成真的话埃文一定能强化野怪。即便这个设定无法实现，那么至少埃文在野区中的作战能力肯定会比较强，所以不难看出这个英雄的定位时一个打野。
在技能方面，从视频中可以推测出至少两个能力，首先是根须缠绕的能力，能束缚住目标并造成伤害，其次是控制草丛的能力：这就很恐怖了&&如果埃文能随地创造草丛/让现有的草丛范围扩大的话，那么足以创造出许多视野差距，从而帮助到自己和队友。如果这个草丛的技能真的成为现实的话，那么埃文与狮子狗可能会成为一对绝配。
许多国外网友也对这个英雄发表了自己的看法：
