PC版PS3模拟器是一款可以完美在电脑上运行的PS3游戏模拟器。绝大多数经典PS3游戏都没有PC版本的，只能开发模拟器来实现电脑上玩，这就是开发本款软件的原因。
PC用PS3模拟器RPCS3目前还在不断的调试过程中，近日，开发者公开了最新的游戏运行影像，他用模拟器运行了《合金装备5：幻痛》。
模拟器已经可以成功处理3D高画质的游戏，在运行《合金装备5：幻痛》的过程中，画面上已经不存在严重的贴图错误，整体帧数维持在15帧左右，尚且称不上流畅运行，因此开发者还在进行最后阶段的优化，相信再过不久，一款完美的PS3模拟器就将正式登场。
ps3模拟器能够完美支持ps3的游戏运行在电脑上，不过由于ps3游戏对电脑配置过高，一般的电脑就算是有模拟器也不能流畅运行，玩一些比较小的ps3上的游戏，那些10G，20G的还是算了吧！
ps3模拟器(rpcs3)能运行ELF文件，玩家可通过选择&BOOT&&BOOT ELF (ELF文件在模拟器 dev_hdd0，ps3_homebrews文件夹里面。里面是官方自编译的ELF。然后随便找一个文件，ELF文件在EmuCR-rpcs3-git-\EmuCR-rpcs3-git-\dev_hdd0\game\TEST12345\USRDIR随便选一个tetris.elf。双击它。然后点击RUN，就会弹出窗口运行了。

今天（日）中午索尼正式开始推送PS3主机的3.70系统，现在玩家们已经可以通过主机系统升级或U盘来更新系统到最新版本了。
（各版本PS3通用，破解PS3主机请无视）
PS3主机的3.70更新追加了以下内容：
首先是为PS Plus用户增加了两个同步功能，原先的“自动下载”现在被重新命名为“自动同步”，并可以：
·为在线存档备份添加自动上传的特性，玩家可以更简单的将自己的游戏存档保存到云端。选择游戏存档中需要自动同步的数据，然后按三角设定，以后就可以自动的将该存档更新到云端。 ·此外，奖杯现在可以按照“自动同步”功能中设定的时间进行自动更新。
另外还添加了一个“推荐”选项，用户可以将PSN商店中的物品，例如游戏和视频的页面直接用邮件消息推荐给你的朋友，让他们可以直接跳转到PSN商店中打开这些物品来购买或下载。
PSP Remaster游戏内容正式支持，玩家可以在系统设定中对PSP游戏效果的景深进行调节，也可以在存档管理中管理PSP Remaster的存档，和PSP进行同步。
由于PS3上视频服务越来越多，索尼在3.70系统中XMB菜单下放置了“电视/视频服务”大类，专门将Netflix、Hulu Plus和VUDU等服务归纳其中。如果你的PS3可以使用这些服务，那么你就可以看到它。
·用户可以在这里找到曾经下载的视频应用。 ·“我的频道”子菜单中可以更便利的归类用户下载的内容。 ·PSN上下载的其它影片仍然保留在XMB的“视频”中。
蓝光电影播放功能也得到了更新，主要集中在3D蓝光上：
·现在可以支持3D蓝光电影中的Java特殊互动功能了。 ·3D蓝光电影中的DTS-HD MA、DTS-HD HR音频现在可以解码或数字直接无损输出了。 ·XMB的照片功能更新，可以在电视上观看MPO格式的3D照片了。
