Pronunciation Workshop(R) was no accident...I was meant to do this work!

As a child, I grew up surrounded as my father was both a musician, as well as a charismatic storyteller. He had the ability to transform his voice into a variety of foreign accents and regional dialects which he used to act out his many stories. This exposure to voice, speech and sound, along with inheriting some of his talent, inspired my love for music and language.
I mastered the piano, developed a keen ear for voice and vocal shaping, and studied the melodies of various languages. I entered college as a double-major in both Communication and Music. Later, I faced some life-altering events, where I witnessed firsthand the healing power of rehabilitation medicine through speech and physical therapy. It was at this time that I chose to pursue a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
I was on a mission to learn all that I could about every aspect of communication. So by night, I took my graduate courses, and by day I worked full-time in the field of audiology and hearing science.
After I graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology I became an ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist receiving the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
For years, I provided speech pathology services to patients in US hospitals and rehab centers, as well as to countless children born with communication, speech and swallowing issues. Although this work was extremely rewarding, my passion and fascination with accents and pronunciation led me to open a private practice serving foreign-born individuals who wished to be better understood in American English.
Pronunciation Workshop(R) is the largest company of licensed Speech Pathologists in the world specializing in Accent and English Pronunciation Training.
Very quickly, I discovered that when I combined my music background with my clinical speech skills, I had an instinctive ability to reshape a client’s speech and pronunciation. I loved my work! Soon, I had designed my own powerful method to take clients who were difficult to understand, and to teach them to speak as if North American English were their First Language. The results were truly staggering! My clients were not only amazed at their transformation, but shocked that they had not learned how to speak English correctly from their English teachers.
The world needs English teachers to teach reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. English teachers however, do not have the skills, nor are they educated to adequately instruct in the specific area of English Pronunciation, sound production and accent training.

As Speech Language Pathologists, this is precisely what we specialize in. It is for this exact reason that clients have told me time and time again, that my training was the missing piece to their puzzle in speaking English clearly. It was through everyone’s collective excitement and encouragement, that Pronunciation Workshop(R) was born.
Pronunciation Workshop(R) is made up exclusively of State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who hold Masters or PhD Degrees, and are certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association. We are the only ones who can provide this specialized and skilled training needed for you to master correct spoken English. We do not employ English teachers, accent trainers, speech coaches or actors as trainers. As Speech Language Pathologists, we are experts at what we do.
Pronunciation Workshop(R) Today
Today, Pronunciation Workshop(R) has increased its travel schedule and provides onsite group instruction to organizations and corporations. For over a decade, we have been the number one American Accent Training Provider for the world’s largest Offshore Call Center Organization. We have also become an integral part in the push towards English mastery throughout Asia. Most recently, with huge promotion and fanfare, Pronunciation Workshop(R) held several large multi-day training events in China for thousands of international attendees. Every day, we are approached with the possibilities of new and exciting training opportunities to train the world in perfect English.
