CrossDock的两种方式

pre-distribution和post-distribution方式Pre- and post-distributionOne way to classify crossdocking operations is according to when the customer is assigned to an individual pallet or product.& In pre-distribution crossdocking, the customer is assigned before the shipment leaves the vendor, so it arrives to the crossdock bagged and tagged for transfer.& In post-distribution crossdocking, the crossdock itself allocates material to its stores.& For example, a crossdock at a Wal-Mart might receive 20 pallets of Tide detergent without labels for individual stores.& Workers at the crossdock allocate 3 pallets to Store 23, 5 pallets to Store 14, and so on.

主要是考虑分发工作是放在配送中心(post-distribution)，还是由供应商完成，这两钟方式在目前的零售业中都经常用到(当然其他行业也是类是的情况)。post-distributiony 一般是在配送中心有专门的人员来处理这些分发的繁杂工作，一般是门店比较多，或者是零售商不想让供应商知道各店的销售情况。［此帖子已被 felix 在

简单翻了一下，大家凑合这看^_^Crossdocking可以按照将单独的托盘或货物分配给客户的时间来分类，Pre-distribution方式下，在货物离开vendor前，货物已经分配好客户，所以当货物抵达CrossDock时，已经打包好，贴好标签，准备发运。Post-distribution方式下，由CrossDock自己将货物分配到各个客户/门店。举个例子，Wal-Mart的一个CrossDock可能收到20托盘没有标签的去污剂，这些需要送到不同的门店。CrossDock的工作人员将3托盘分给23号店，5托盘分给14号店，等等Pre-distribution肯定要更难实施，因为CrossDock的Vendors在货物发运之前，必须知道货物是到哪个门店/客户的。这就对信息传递，系统协调提出高的要求。 当有几百个vendors时，这个问题变的很严重！［此帖子已被 waitforu 在

CROSSDOCK只有两种方式，一种是在供应商送货前没有把商品分拣好，到了仓库后需要做一次分拣才能出货，第二种是在供应商送货的时候已经按一定的方式把商品分好，只是放到仓库后作暂存，很快会出货，这种情况下分拣的原则一般来讲依据线路别的却别。

严格的讲，这个不能说是CROSSDOCK的方式吧？这个仅仅是分拣方式。是让供应商分拣还是收货人分拣。但是这两个方式是和CROSSDOCK的方式相联系的，是因为CROSSDOCK的方式的不同而采用的策略。
